A Novel MIMO Radar Orthogonal Waveform Design Algorithm Based on Intelligent Ions Motion

Orthogonal waveform design is one of the key technologies that affects detection performance MIMO radars. Most existing methods indirectly tackle this problem as an intractable nonconvex optimization and NP-hard problem. In work, we propose a novel algorithm based on intelligent ions motion (IMO) to directly obtain set polyphase codes with good orthogonality. The autocorrelation sidelobe cross-correlation are first derived subsequently integrated into evaluation functions for evaluating orthogonality codes. order effectively cope aforementioned problem, present strengthened IMO highly robust converges rapidly. liquid state, optimal guiding principle same-charge suggested enhance global search ability avoid falling local optima.
